A Creative Arts Education Approach to Cultural Storytelling

Nurturing Narratives, Rooting for Resonance

Ranjini Ganapathy
Hi! I am Ranjini. I am a creative arts educator and the founder of Salangai Stories—an initiative that brings together movement, storytelling, and critical inquiry.
Through Bharatanatyam-inspired embodied storytelling, I design programs that create literature-rich environments where participants experience stories through the body. Blending dance, drama, and language, my work supports learners in exploring meaning, voice, and perspective in expressive and deeply personal ways.
I believe storytelling is not just something we read—it is something we inhabit. Through movement, rhythm, and reflection, learners step into stories and discover new ways of understanding themselves and the world.
